I am so excited to announce that I will be starting a YouTube channel; it will launch April 19, 2020, at 8 pm; of course, it will feature fashion. I will upload videos every Sunday. The channel will focus on hauls, fashion tips, and advice, how-to videos, and travel guides.
I want to focus on fashion because it has carried me through good and bad times; I genuinely do have a passion for it; it’s my outlet. I can remember the exact moment when I knew it was for me.
Quick Short Story:
I’m 7 years old, and I just got a new outfit for my birthday. My mother tells me that we are going to the grocery store. I run to my room to put on my new outfit. It was a beautiful pastel shimmery sweater with a matching pink skirt. Now mind you, we were only going to the grocery store, but I remember the feeling when I looked at myself in the mirror: I felt BEAUTIFUL. I skipped out of our apartment, and off we went.
I have been blogging for 3 years, so naturally, this is the next step in my journey as a creative. While I love Instagram and it is a great avenue, at the moment, Youtube is King when it comes to videos, and I know all of you are not on Instagram, so I want to make sure that I can reach you where you hang out.
The Plan for YouTube
The plan is to release a video every week (youtube), making sure I am providing the content that yall are looking for. It will be another way for you ladies to absorb and see more content, especially right now. While my channel will be about fashion with a lifestyle approach, I cannot ignore the things that shape how our society operates in the middle of a pandemic or not. I want to provide entertainment to take your mind off of your worries and obligations for a small portion of your day and hopefully spark some inspiration.
