Elderberry ( boost immune system)

By now most of you are aware that people are dying from Covid-19, but what you may not is why. People with underlying health issues are losing the battle, but especially people with respiratory complications. People are developing pneumonia, causing difficulty with breathing and then finally succumbed to the disease.

Elderberries contain natural chemical substances known as flavonoids that aid in boosting the immune system of the body. They are antioxidants that help to remove the harmful free radicals produced as a result of numerous metabolic reactions. Elderberry is highly effective in treating diseases related to depressed immune system which keeps a person healthy.

This plant is quite effective in protecting and treating infections of the upper respiratory tract. Elderberry also helps to reduce the swelling in mucous membranes and decreases nasal congestion in people suffering from bacterial sinusitis.

Guinea Hen Weed ( boost immune system)

If you are pregnant DO NOT take this, it can induce an abortion or lead to a miscarriage.

Any person who has a bleeding disease like hemophilia or anyone on a blood-thinning prescription should not take it. This herb has a trace of Coumadin in it which is a blood thinner.

This plant is indigenous in warmer climates, like South America and the Caribbean. It stimulates the immune system to increase its production of lymphocytes and natural killer cells – powerful disease-destroying cells.

At the same time, it increases the production of interferon and interleukins – substances naturally produced by the immune system in fighting cancers and infections.

Olive Leaf Extract

Olive leaf extract is derived from the leaves of the olive tree and has been used medicinally for thousands of years.

The immunomodulatory effects of olive leaf extract along with a high level of antioxidants help reduce oxidative stress and relieve any strain on the immune system.

It has even been shown to restore the intestinal epithelial barrier, further helping the body’s defenses. Healthy gut bacteria are important in immune system function. Vitamin C ( boost immune system)

Everyone knows about Vitamin C.

Vitamin C helps encourage the production of white blood cells known as lymphocytes and phagocytes, which help protect the body against infection

Also, Vitamin C helps white blood cells function more effectively while protecting them from damage by potentially harmful molecules, such as free radicals.

Lastly, vitamin C is an essential part of the skin’s defense system. It’s actively transported to the skin, where it can act as an antioxidant and help strengthen the skin’s barriers.

research from: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/vitamin-c-benefits#6.-Boosts-immunity-

Use: most people drink orange juice or take Emergen-C. When it comes to herbs and wellness I try to use and take the purest form of the herb to get all of the benefits. In the morning I take one scoop of this and put it in my water. Vitamin C does have a tangy taste, hence the taste of orange juice.
